MEDICAL
Turtleback showreel for the medical industry
Client:
Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO)
The Brief:
We were asked by VHIO to create a dynamic film that summarises their history and highlights their amazing people and work, which together puts them at the forefront of oncology research and treatment.
What We Did:
We worked closely with VHIO and delivered a script and a storyboard that clearly outlined our proposed flow for the video. The result is a fast moving video that combines graphics, animation and live footage to illustrate the story. We used camera movements to emphasise the commitment of VHIO's staff to research and patients.
Client:
The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)
The Brief:
We were commissioned by ESMO to create videos concisely summarising key new research topics for expert oncology professionals.
What We Did:
Shot in various locations around Europe, we used graphics, 2D and 3D animation techniques on the footage we filmed, to help convey the information in an engaging and concise way whilst adding visual interest.
Client:
Roche
The Brief:
Session recording
We were asked to film a session held at The HATi congress in Cologne on the topic of Making Health Personal.
What We Did:
Using a mix of moving and steady shots, we created a dynamic, interesting edit. There was a tight schedule, which meant we had to come in and out of the room quickly without interrupting the preparations, nor the sessions before and after. To insure the best result, we scouted the location in advance and used kit that enabled us to move in and out of the room with maximum efficiency whilst still getting the best results.
Client:
Roche - Global Access
The Brief:
Roche provided us with footage shot by their employees on their smartphones and asked us to make a compelling video, inspired by their brand's logo
What We Did:
By adding animation that illustrated the key points made by the different speakers, we managed to bring together all the footage, which varied in quality, and connect it to the Global Access brand.
We also went through the filmed material, re-framed and enhanced it as best possible and improved the sound.
Client:
The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)
The Brief:
We were asked to film interviews with key experts speaking about different topics related to personalised medicine
What We Did:
The interviews were filmed during the annual ESMO congress. To match the look and feel of the videos with the topic of personalised medicine, we created a set in the room, using the characters from ESMO's personalised medicine logo, as a backdrop. We also illustrated the topics using some animated graphics.
CORPORATE
Client:
Radar One Media - Transform Finance
The Brief:
We were asked to create a video showing the highlights of the Transform Finance event.
What We Did:
When we shot on site during the day of the event, we ensured that we captured interviews with a combination of static and moving shots together with relevant scenery from around London. In the edit room, we compiled them into a fast cut, which helps to tell the story around the key elements that made the event a success.

Client:
Mango Logistics Group
The Brief:
We were asked by Mango to create an animated video highlighting the different, tailored services they offer to London businesses.
What We Did:
Using Mango's existing branding, we highlighted Mango's unique offering by showing how it fills the gap between the ideal logistics needs of London businesses to the reality they face.
